Welcome to Accelerators & Cryogenic Systems

Five engineers and a Director of research CNRS (Institute of nuclear physics from Orsay) teamed up in 2009 to create «Accelerators and Cryogenic Systems» Simplified Joint-Stock Company. The goal of this start-up is to enhance knowledge and transfer the know-how acquired in the field of superconducting-cavity-based accelerators and cryogenic technology to industry.

Irradiations

In collaboration with testing platforms, ACS offers access and support on a wide range of beams: neutrons, electrons, stable beams from protons to gold and aggregates. The energy range extends from a few KeV up to several MeV.

Engineering

Accelerators and Cryogenic Systems is positioned as a designer of new generation cold-technology-based accelerators. ACS specializes in the technology of superconducting cavity-based particle accelerators and the associated cryogenic equipment.

Our references

L’équipe d’ACS est étroitement associée aux activités d’accélérateurs et de cryogénie. Nos équipes ont participé activement  à la conception et à la construction d’équipements d’accélérateurs et de cryogénie pour la recherche en physique nucléaire et en physique des particules des principales installations en Europe: CERN (LHC, SPL), GANIL (Spiral 2), DESY (TESLA),  et intervient aujourd’hui  sur FREIA Uppsala , MSU, Myrrha SCK.
